Canaan Missionary Baptist Church

Giving

Give with a cheerful heart

Every gift to Canaan goes toward the preaching of God's Word, the care of the church family, and the missionary work we support beyond these walls. Thank you for giving.

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

What your giving supports

  • The ministry of the Word — Sunday preaching, Sunday School and mid-week Bible study.
  • Missions — as a Missionary Baptist church, we give toward the work of the gospel beyond Sheldon.
  • Outreach and benevolence — food, fellowship, and help for neighbors who need it.
  • The care of the church — the building, the grounds, and the everyday needs of the congregation.

Prefer to give in person?

An offering is received at every Sunday Worship service, and gifts can be brought to the church office. If you have a question about giving, call 843-846-4175.
