A place for children to grow in faith
Families are welcome at Canaan, children included — in Sunday School, in the service, and in everything this ministry will grow into. Here is what it is about.

What it is
Engaging, age-appropriate Christian education
The youth and children's ministry at Canaan exists to help our youngest disciples grow in their faith — through engaging, age-appropriate Christian education and activities, taught by people who genuinely enjoy children.
Children are not the church of tomorrow; they are part of the church today. At Canaan they are welcomed into the life of the congregation rather than parked to one side, and this ministry is where that begins.
Right now that means Sunday School classes at 10:00 AM for every age, a warm welcome on Sunday mornings, and a congregation glad to have young voices in the room. Canaan Kids is what comes next, and it is being built carefully rather than quickly.
More details about the youth and children’s ministry are on the way. When there is news to share, it will be posted right here — and if you tell us now, we will make sure you are told directly.
The Word, at their level
Children hear the same Scriptures the whole church hears, opened in a way that meets them where they are. Age-appropriate teaching, honest answers, and room to ask anything.
Belonging, not just attending
Our hope is that a child here is known by name — greeted at the door, remembered when they are absent, and glad to be in the room.
Faith that goes home
What is taught on Sunday is meant to be lived on Monday. Families are given the same ground to stand on, so the conversation keeps going all week.
Room to grow up in
From the youngest to the oldest, our aim is to help a child grow into a young person who knows the Lord and knows they are loved by His church.

Bringing children this Sunday?
Sunday School begins at 10:00 AM with classes for every age, and children are welcome in the 11:00 AM service. Let us know you are coming and someone will meet you at the door and walk you to a class.
