Plan your visit
Let us know you are coming
You do not have to tell us a thing — the door on Trask Parkway is open to you either way. But if you let us know, someone will be watching for you, and a first visit stops feeling like a first visit.
“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.”
Psalm 122:1

You are welcome here
However you come to us, you are welcome just as you are
Maybe you have been in church your whole life. Maybe it has been years, and you are not sure what you would even say at the door. Either way, you are wanted at Canaan — not once you have sorted something out, but exactly as you are this Sunday.
We are an ordinary congregation of the lowcountry: farmers and nurses, grandparents and young families, folks who have been here for decades and folks who came for the first time last month. What holds us together is not that we have it all figured out. It is the Lord, and His Word, and the joy of being His family.
Come exactly as you are
There is no dress code here. Some wear their Sunday best, some come in a pressed shirt or clean jeans, and nobody is counting. Come with a heart ready to worship and that is enough.
Nobody will put you on the spot
You will not be asked to stand up, to speak, or to give anything as a visitor. Sit where you like, sing as much as you like, and simply be with us.
Your children are welcome
Bring them. Sunday School at 10:00 AM has classes for every age, and a restless little one in the service has never bothered anybody at Canaan.

This is the door we are hoping you will walk through.

Not sure which one?
Four ways to gather with us
Any of them is a fine first visit. If you cannot decide, Sunday Worship at 11:00 AM is where most folks begin — and the livestream at noon is there for anyone who cannot make it in person.

How it works
Three small steps, and then you are here
There is nothing to prepare and nothing to bring. This is the whole of it.
Tell us you are coming
Fill in the short form below — your name, an email, and which service you have in mind. It takes under a minute.
We get a text right away
Your note goes straight to the church, so someone knows to look for you and can answer any question you left.
Come and be welcomed
Arrive a few minutes early if you can, and someone will meet you at the door, walk you in, and help you find a seat.

Come and see for yourself
Nothing on a page can take the place of being in the room. Tell us you are coming, or just come — the door is open and the people are glad you came.
