From the Pastor’s Desk

A word from Pastor Franklyn Ruth

A welcome, a word of encouragement, and an open invitation from the pastor of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. Read it, and know that the door and the seat are yours.

“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.”
Psalm 122:1

A word of welcome from the pastor

Grace and peace to you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for taking a moment to visit the website of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. Whether you found us by searching, by a friend’s word, or simply by passing along Trask Parkway, I am glad the Lord brought you here.

We are an ordinary congregation serving an extraordinary Savior. We love the Word of God, we love to sing His praises, and we love one another. If you are looking for a church home, or if you are only curious, you will find an open door and a warm seat waiting for you.

Come and worship with us this Sunday. It would be my joy to meet you, to pray with you, and to welcome you into the family here at Canaan.

“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.”
Psalm 122:1
